Family tour: From sailing ship to spaceship

Recommended for families with children up to the age of 12

On our interactive family tour, we combine the past and the future: together we first discover selected stations of the permanent exhibition on historical emigration. How did people set off for a new life in the past, with what hopes, challenges and dangers? Based on these stories, we will then turn to the special exhibition "The lure of space. Emigrating to the moon, Mars, Venus?".

Here, young and old space travelers embark on an exciting mission through space. You will find out what past emigrations could have to do with a possible future on distant planets. At the start, we form small space teams to solve tasks together. Each team chooses a captain who will guide the group safely through our space journey. Afterwards, there is still time to explore the exhibition on your own.
