The joint exhibition "FARBE ³ - zwischen Farbe & Raum" by the Kiel artists Maren Allermann, Friederike Hillebrand and Britta Wittenberg shows three painterly positions in the Freya-Frahm-Haus, Strandstraße 15 in 24235 Laboe.
The vernissage will take place on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with a welcoming speech by the board of the Freya-Frahm-Haus e. V. with small snacks and drinks. The exhibition will be open for the first time from Friday, 29.08.2025 from 13:00 to 18:00. The duration of this exhibition is from 29.08.2025 to 14.09.2025 and it can be visited during the following opening hours: Wed - Sat 1pm - 6pm and Sun 11am - 6pm. Free admission.
The power of color and the abstraction of form are reflected in the paintings of all three painters and make their individual visual language visible.
Maren Allermann shows expressive, flat and color-intensive paintings with free forms in abstract color spaces on the theme of "Figure & Color in Space". Her serial approach creates a painterly dialog between the paintings.
Friederike Hillebrand brings "color in motion" to her abstract paintings with spontaneous, powerful brushstrokes, creating painterly snapshots of everyday situations and moods.
In her paintings, Britta Wittenberg focuses on the themes of "Nature & Landscape". In her paintings she captures the fleetingness of light, color and structure.
