Content:
Farmer Mr. Jones treats his animals cruelly and ruthlessly. They are exploited and neglected. One day, the farmer is driven away by his animals. The animals create new rules and a community in which they all help out. But it soon becomes clear: "All animals are equal, but some are more equal." The pigs take over, exploit the others and suppress anyone who resists. The vision of a free society fails. But what could a new, just community look like? What ideals, rules and values would be decisive?

The ensemble for "Animal Farm" should be made up of people from Wiesbaden and the region, across all generations, aged 16 and over. Theater experience is less important than the desire to get involved in this joint project. A band is also to be formed for this production. After a selection workshop in October 2025, there will be regular rehearsals from November 2025. Intensive rehearsals from the end of March 2026
