Favorite songs can be love letters, protest anthems or the soundtrack to an unforgettable day. As part of "Impulse meets ...", Vienna-based Japanese artist Michikazu Matsune asks Düsseldorf residents and guests a simple, multi-layered question: What is your favorite song? During the festival, he is developing two formats: spontaneous interviews in public spaces and listening sessions - where personal hits and the stories behind them are experienced together. The project will be continued and concluded as part of the "Nippon Performance Nights" in November at the FFT Düsseldorf.
