1976: Civil war-like conditions prevail in Jamaica. To promote understanding among his fellow countrymen, Bob Marley announces a big free concert. But shortly beforehand, armed men break into his house and shoot wildly without hesitation. To get his family and his band to safety after this incident, Marley moves to London with them temporarily. There he records "Exodus", his most important album both musically and in terms of his message, with which he finally rises to global superstardom.
