FEIGEN PFLÜCKEN: Lesung mit Nora

In the organizer's words:

Release event for Nora's poetry collection "Feigen pflücken":

• Admission from 19:30, start at 20:00
• There are about 25 seats. It's worth being on time, because the best seats are of course right at the front. :)

Program:

In addition to Nora, who will read some poems from her book, there will also be readings by other poets: Laura (@Prostderpoesie) and Naemi (@bargetuschel) will each read a few texts from their collections.

The book, which will be officially published on October 27th, will of course already be available for purchase, as well as posters created in cooperation with talented artists. Look forward to an evening full of beautiful words, art and coziness. <3

About the poetry book "Feigen pflücken":

"Sylvia Plath once wrote,
that you can't pick all the figs
That with every decision made
another one slowly decays.
I often think about that
Because I want a lot
And sometimes nothing at all
I write about this in "Picking figs"
And: about being and becoming a woman, which is always too much
And at the same time never enough
Of friendship that sustains and heals and breaks
Of love that stays and goes or was never there
Of bodies that we have to relearn
and a society that is being destroyed by its contradictions
while at the same time it is our only support
Of taking paths and making decisions and enduring the fact that other paths fade away as a result,
of all the figs that pave our lives...
Maybe we can't pick all the figs, but perhaps you will find in the pages of this book, in the lines of these poems
one,
that you don't want to leave lying around.
Maybe you will find a piece of yourself in this piece of me"
