büsra ayhan is a cologne-based singer and songwriter whose music combines the intimacy of jazzy soul with elements of neo-soul and r'n'b.
growing up in a non-musical home, her musical journey began at the age of 19 when she joined a vocal improvisation choir in her hometown of düsseldorf. shortly afterwards, she discovered songwriting as a way to artistically process her experiences as a german-turkish woman and the challenges of navigating between two cultures.

the window sessions bring performances of music, dance and theater into the shop windows around worringer platz. passers-by become a random audience and listen to what is happening inside via headphones. the sessions are published as a video series on youtube.
