FENZL - Sommer Sound & Liebe

Fenzl is back at it again! After three albums, an EP and a whole host of acclaimed gigs from the Rocketclub to the Backstage, the BrassWiesn and the Bergfestival in Austria to the BrassPalmas Festival in Croatia. And on top of that, he has delivered acclaimed performances as support for Seiler und Speer and the legendary Spider Murphy Gang. So there's a lot going on around the ex-Django 3000 bassist, who is now adding a huge scoop of positive vibes and an extremely danceable Bavarian polka beat with his band!
"Sommer Sound & Liebe" is the name of the latest EP! The six brand new songs on it take fans and friends on a journey through the musical Fenzl universe: once to "Oiwei Easy Island" and back!
Glowing hot grooves meet energetic melodies. Summery with a pinch of southern flair, until you think you can taste the sun on your skin and the Mediterranean on your lips as you sing along!
Fenzl and his congenial band remain true to themselves in both senses of the word: on the outside, with the almost iconic fifties look of sunglasses, pomade, shirt and the indispensable hot sled. But also musically, of course, with sophisticated, catchy songs with sometimes witty, sometimes thoughtful and always life-affirming Bavarian lyrics. The unmistakable double bass and driving drums with a slight ska touch once again form the runway on which the guitar and trombone take off towards the sun.
When the Fenzl wave rolls in, the living room becomes a beach bar and the club show a festival meadow. And then, at the latest, all good things come in threes: summer sound and love!
