Festival Vielfalt

In the organizer's words:

On April 24 and 25, 2026, an open, accessible meeting place will be created at KOMMA Esslingen where people of all ages with and without disabilities can experience culture together, meet each other and celebrate diversity. The festival is a place where people can meet at eye level, where barriers are broken down and social interaction is strengthened.

You can expect a colorful, low-threshold and diverse program:

Friday, April 24:

Sensory trail. Video games. Boccia. Games table. Table tennis. Bar. Popcorn. Thai food truck.

from 18:00: Creative workshops (such as fabric bag painting and more)

from 19:30: Cinema evening "Miracle"

Saturday, April 25:

(Children's) face painting. Glitter tattoos. Photo booth. Sensory trail. Video games. Boccia. Games table. Table tennis. Bar. Waffles. Coffee & cake. Thai food truck. Ice cream. other (vegan) food

from 12:00: Creative workshops (such as fabric bag painting and more)

16:00: Lecture by Kai Bosch "Prejudices: Really disabled!"

16:30: EamiQ (rapper)

17:30: Kai Bosch & surprise guest (comedy)

18:45: Sally Cant't Wait (band)

from 20:30: Disco with DJ A-Man

With the Diversity Festival, we want to show how lively, natural and enriching inclusion can be. We are a project group from Esslingen University of Applied Sciences and cordially invite you to join us!
