Swabia's biggest folk festival

Once again this year, the Herbstplärrer awaits you from August 22 to September 7, 2025 with some new rides, but also many tried and tested ones.
Whether for young or old, for those with a sweet tooth or adrenaline junkies - there's something for everyone at the Plärrer.

In addition to the attractions, there are also numerous events on the program at the Plärrer. The Plärrer grounds are open daily from 12:00 to 23:00. There are various activities for young and old throughout the day. The program varies depending on the day. Check it out here !

Hitradio RT1 will also be there - live from the Binswanger tent every day! In addition to the Binswanger tent, the Schaller tent also offers a number of entertainment events.

Accessibility

The Augsburg Plärrer undertakes extensive measures to ensure barrier-free access and a barrier-free stay at the fair. This includes accessible paths that are wide enough and have ramps or steps. There are also seating areas at regular intervals on the Plärrer grounds where visitors can sit down. Other measures include wheelchair-accessible toilets, easy access to the tents via ramps and special entry points and barrier-free seats on the rides. Disabled parking spaces are available on the Plärrer grounds near the police station (Schwimmschulstraße).

Sanitary facilities

Our sanitary facilities are located in large numbers throughout the Plärrer grounds. Here is an overview of the sanitary facilities and their other features:

• Toilet for everyone opposite the Almdorf: For people with complex disabilities, with height-adjustable lounger
• Toilet at the Binswanger marquee: Disabled-friendly with changing table
• Toilet at the Leopardenspur
• Toilet at the Schaller marquee: Disabled-accessible with changing table
• Toilet at the Almdorf: With changing table
• Toilet in the center aisle

Disabled-friendly sanitary facilities can be found at the Binswanger marquee and the Schaller marquee.

A new feature is the "Toilet for All" where people with complex disabilities can also be cared for on a height-adjustable lounger. You will find this sanitary facility opposite the Almdorf.

Protection of minors

Children and young people under the age of 16 who are not accompanied by a parent or guardian are not permitted on the festival grounds from 20:00.

Accompanied by a legal guardian ...
... young people aged 14-16 may stay until 10 pm.
... young people aged 16-18 may stay until midnight.

The "Muttizettel" (parental authority according to JuSchG) is not recognized on the entire Plärrer grounds.

Admission to the beer tents (from 5 p.m.)

• Schaller marquee: from 18 years of age
• Binswanger tent: from 16 years of age

It is forbidden to stay on the fairground from midnight to 6 a.m. The Plärrer is open on weekdays(Monday-Thursday) from 12:00 to 23:00 and on Friday from 12:00 to 23:30. On Saturday, the festival is open from 10:30 to 23:30 and on Sundays/Public Holidays from 10:30 to 23:00.

What is not allowed?

• Please refrain from bringing large bags and rucksacks
• Drinks containing alcohol may not be brought onto the fairground.
• It is not permitted to bring dangerous objects, in particular cutting, thrusting or stabbing weapons, spray containers with harmful contents, corrosive or coloring substances or fireworks.
• Unfortunately,pets must also stay at home.
• Traffic with vehicles of all kinds (exceptions: Baby carriages and vehicles used for the transportation of disabled persons such as wheelchairs)

In addition, all entrances are monitored by security personnel who carry out entrance checks with bag checks.
