Film: "The Chocolate War - im Kampf gegen die milliardenschwere Schokoladenindustrie"

In the organizer's words:

The documentary accompanies US lawyer Terry Collingsworth as he collects evidence to sue Nestlé for aiding and abetting exploitative child labor and slavery on Ivorian cocoa plantations. Together with local groups, we are showing the film at many locations in Germany. After the film, we want to discuss with the audience and the accompanying groups: What are the reasons why exploitative child labor is still part of everyday life on cocoa plantations in West Africa? What responsibility do chocolate companies in Germany bear for the problem? And what has changed since the introduction of the German Supply Chain Act?
