A young man, played by Gael García Bernal, moves from Mexico to Paris and works in the office of a picture calendar company. Both professionally and privately, he repeatedly loses himself in his imaginative dream worlds and finds it increasingly difficult to distinguish between dreams and reality.

In this poetic love story, boundaries and feelings become blurred in a tender and absurd way. Between stop-motion dreams, whimsical ideas and quiet melancholy, "The Science of Sleep" is a film full of creativity and heart.
