Filmfest Bremen : PSYCHO THERAPY

Black comedy about a retired serial killer (Steve Buscemi) who involuntarily becomes a psycho-coach. Writer Keane (John Magaro) is stuck in a paralyzing writer's block while his marriage is falling apart. The eccentric Kollmick, who wants to inspire Keane to write a new book and save his relationship, promises salvation. Instead of murder there is motivation, instead of crime scenes there are therapy sessions - but old habits die hard. With dry humour, sharp dialogue and an outstanding performance by Buscemi, Psycho Therapy is a biting noir crime comedy about creative crises, self-optimization and a coach who has never completely shed his methods.
