The world in 2027 is in a state of emergency because there are no children. Humanity is no longer capable of reproducing. Almost twenty years have passed since the last baby was born. And without children, there is no future and no hope. That is why the world is sinking more and more into anarchy and is ruled by violence. Theo has also long since given up fighting for a better world, until a former girlfriend desperately asks him for help. She wants to take young Kee out of the country because Kee is pregnant. But she is not only carrying her last hope, she is also in mortal danger.
