FINALS International Dance Competition

In the organizer's words:

FINALS has been bringing international dance art to Braunschweig for over 13 years.
What began as a regional idea is now one of the most important choreography competitions in urban dance:

Over 750 dancers from several nations travel to the Volkswagen Halle every year! On our stage, they present the work they have been working on for months. Breathtaking, compassionate, amazing!

Our two shows will take place on May 16, 2026:
The Juniors will compete at 13:00, young people aged between 10 and 17.
The Professionals from 18:00 - the elite of urban dance!
A jury of international choreography experts will judge the performances, and a total of 12,500 euros in prize money will be awarded at the end.

What makes FINALS special is the atmosphere. The audience includes families, dance enthusiasts and people who are experiencing a competition of this kind for the first time - and rarely go home indifferent.
The hall can hold up to 3,500 spectators, but the feeling is amazingly close.

The event is organized by German Dance Art UG from Braunschweig.
