In the organizer's words:

Extreme weather, low water levels, rising food prices - climate change has far-reaching effects on the economy and financial markets. But how can financial systems become more resilient? And what impetus can central banks provide to better understand climate risks and prepare the financial markets for the challenges of the future?

The event will shed light on how climate-related risks affect price stability, why the loss of biodiversity jeopardizes entire industries and what the financial system can contribute to the transformation.

Finance Flash live will provide an exciting insight into the interactions between the climate crisis, the economy and financial systems. There will also be a quiz, including prizes, and questions about careers and entry opportunities at the Bundesbank can be asked at the get-together.
