Cleo sets out to reinvent herself - and invites us all to accompany her on this exciting journey. The Hamburg singer, who once made a name for herself as a celebrated jazz vocalist, opens a new chapter with her band FiNDiNG CLEO and shows that the courage to change can create great things.

Her roots in jazz have shaped Cleo: Growing up in a musical home, honed on the stages of the jazz metropolis of New Orleans, and celebrated for years for her virtuoso voice, which was reminiscent of greats such as Ella Fitzgerald. But the turning point came during the pandemic - and with it the desire to find the sound of her own voice. It was time to break away from convention and write her own music that reflected her as an artist and a person.

With FiNDiNG CLEO, a band was formed that is just as multifaceted as Cleo herself: Martín Zamorano (keys), Lukas Staratzky (guitar), Tom Richter (bass) and Jonas Winkler (drums) bring their diverse musical backgrounds together to create an unmistakable blend of indie pop and neo-soul. Together with Cleo, they create a stage bursting with energy, intimacy and honest emotion.

FiNDiNG CLEO sounds like a hug for the soul: dynamic rhythms, multi-layered harmonies and lyrics that tell of love, self-doubt, crises, new beginnings and the search for one's place in the world. Fans of artists such as Leif Vollebekk, The Japanese House or Emily King will feel at home here - because FiNDiNG CLEO creates music to empathize, resonate and breathe deeply.

The first single "Alike", a moving song about the courage to stay true to yourself, was released in May 2024. This is followed by the anthem "Just Right", which celebrates all those who choose their own route through life - even if it includes detours. At the same time, the band is working on an EP with London producer Chris Hyson (credits: Jordan Rakei, Iwan Rheon, Alison Sudol), which will be released in 2025 with a further six songs.
