KNIPP GUMBO
"Rock'n'Roll un sowat - op Platt und Hoochdüütsch!"

Based on the Low German "One guitar - one voice - a bunch of songs" solo program by drummer, singer, guitarist and songwriter Lars Köster, there will also be a band version in the line-up from January 2021, parallel to the release of the first CD

- Steff Ulrich: drums, vocals (Die Antwort, Velvetone, Dimple Minds)
- Andy Merck: bass, vocals (Rumble On The Beach, Velvetone, Dimple Minds)
- Lars Köster: vocals, guitar (Die Mimmi's, Velvetone)

The musical meal will be hearty - hearty: Rock'n'Roll, Americana and Pub Rock between the Paladins, Dr. Feelgood and Buddy Miller.
They perform their own songs from various creative periods and selected cover versions.
And as if that wasn't enough, the whole thing is served up with Low German lyrics!

Wi seggt: Hey Ho, Man To!

And where does this funny name come from?

Knipp (Knipp) is a grilled sausage related to Pinkel. It is a specialty in Bremen and in some regions of Lower Saxony.
Gumbo (Gambo) is a spicy stew thickened with dark roux from the US-American southern cuisine.
So: KNIPP for the North German soul and GUMBO for the musical influences from the South of the U.S.A. Quite simple, isn't it?

Admission from 18:00, start is 19:00, the end of the concert will be around 21:00... but you in the audience are decisive for the end of the concert, so do your best!
We would like to encourage you to come and give unknown musicians a chance, so the entrance fee of 10€ is a good value, at the Box Office 12€.
