We have invited! A prominent personality who has dedicated himself to the written word. We will get to know the guest, his biography and his work in a very special atmosphere. A very personal "meet and greet" with texts, talks, culinary delights, discussions and music.

Leonie Böhm grew up in Heilbronn, attended the Waldorf School there and is now the mother of two children, who constantly encourage her to question herself, to develop further and to demand a completely different reality in her life. With three degrees, she is versatile and today works as a director, performer and visual artist both in the independent scene and at the municipal theater. She initially studied art and German as a secondary school teacher and trained as an art mediator at documenta 7. She completed her art studies at the Kunsthochschule Kassel in 2011. Leonie Böhm finally came to the theater in order to shape artistic processes in collaboration with people. Leonie Böhm has worked at the Münchner Kammerspiele, Thalia Theater Hamburg, Theater Bremen, Theater Oberhausen and as in-house director at Schauspielhaus Zürich (2019-2024). She is still interested in canonical texts, how to relate to them and how to write her own needs and ideas into them. She received the Kurt Hübner Directing Prize 2021 and was invited to the Berlin Theatertreffen; in August, Maja Beckmann was named Actress of the Year by Theater heute critics for her performance in their production of "Medea*". In the 23/24 season, she staged "Blutstück" based on the novel by Kim de l'Horizon and was invited with this work to the Wiener Festwochen and the Autor:innentage in Berlin, among others.
