Mix it up! - Mixing Workshop

Do you love music and have always wondered how to create a well-rounded, powerful song from many individual tracks?

Then our mixing workshop at Krea is the right place for you! Together we will create a space where you can learn basic mixing skills and try them out - without any pressure to perform, but with plenty of room to experiment and exchange ideas with others.

What you can expect:
- Introduction to the basics of mixing
- Mixing tracks and shaping the sound spatially
- Listening exercises, your own experiments and direct application
- Tips & tricks for DIY productions

You don't need to bring anything. Previous knowledge or your own equipment is not necessary.

The workshop will be led by: Milena (she/her) will guide you step by step through the world of mixing and make sure that you can get started right away.

Who for: FLINTA* people who want to discover DIY music productions and experiment with sound.

Conditions of participation:
The FLINTA* MUSIC LAB workshop series is aimed exclusively at FLINTA*. FLINTA* stands for women, lesbians, inter, non-binary, trans and agender people. The events serve to empower and specifically support people who are disadvantaged by patriarchal structures.

By booking a ticket, participants confirm bindingly that they belong to the FLINTA* target group and have taken note of these conditions of participation. FLINTA* MUSIC LAB:
Despite a diverse cultural program and committed actors, FLINTA* (women, lesbians, inter, non-binary, trans and agender people) are still significantly underrepresented on stages and in technical professions in the event industry. To actively counteract this, we are launching the FLINTA* Music Lab - a series of workshops for all FLINTA* who are generally interested in music, technology and everything behind, in front of and on stage. Together, Kreativfabrik and Schlachthof are creating a safer space for learning, trying things out and networking - with a focus on event technology, DJing and music production.
