FLINTA* Music Lab: Zwischen Bewertungsangst und Peak Performance

In the organizer's words:

Between evaluation anxiety and peak performance in the HALLE
FLINTA* Music Lab - a series of workshops for all FLINTA* behind, in front of and on stage

As musicians, we are not only judged when we perform live. We also show ourselves in the digital space, on social media for example, and receive comments, praise and criticism. The constant visibility and evaluation can be very mentally exhausting. How do we deal with fear of being judged, negative feedback, self-doubt and stage fright? How do we get into a state where we feel comfortable and safe - on stage and in our digital visibility? Together we will set out in search of a safer space within ourselves.

Franziska Lauter (she/her) is a psychologist and has been advising music creators and people working in the music industry for over 10 years. She is a co-founder of the MiM Association (Mental Health in Music), an association of psychologists for the music industry. One of her main areas of expertise is research into musical creativity. She has enjoyed musical success herself with various band projects - so she knows the joys and challenges of the music industry from her own experience.

Conditions of participation:
The FLINTA MUSIC LAB* workshop series is aimed exclusively at FLINTA* people. FLINTA* stands for women, lesbians, inter, non-binary, trans and agender people. The offers serve to empower and specifically support people who are disadvantaged by patriarchal structures. By booking a ticket, participants confirm that they belong to the FLINTA* target group and have taken note of these conditions of participation. This confirmation is a prerequisite for participation. If you are unable to attend, please let us know so that other interested parties can move up. Contact: info@schlachthof-wiesbaden.de

FLINTA* MUSIC LAB:
Despite a diverse cultural program and committed actors*, FLINTA* (women, lesbians, inter, non-binary, trans and agender people) are still significantly underrepresented on stages and in technical professions in the event industry.to actively counteract this, we are launching the FLINTA* Music Lab - a series of workshops for all FLINTA* who are generally interested in music, technology and everything behind, in front of and on stage. Together, Kreativfabrik and Schlachthof are creating a safer space for learning, trying things out and networking - with a focus on event technology, DJing and music production.
