Home can sometimes feel like a prison, as the director of A SHORT FILM ABOUT A CHAIR finds out. The protagonist in A BULL CALLS hears the call of home, but her return there is anything but smooth. In MAIFELD, on the other hand, the Italian guest workers struggle to come to terms with their new life in 1960s Germany. The documentary WE BEG TO DIFFER tells the story of people in Northern Ireland who find their new home in an illegal car sport. And in REMORAH , Lisbon's botanical garden becomes a space for reflection on queer life and one's own origins.
