Somewhere I Belong: films about the search for belonging

The question of where you belong is sometimes difficult to answer. Especially when you can't be found in the residents' registration office database. This is the case for Musa, who finds himself confronted with a process of Kafkaesque proportions in the film SOFOREM . FAR AWAY portrays a family of Haitian origin living in Cuba who, in the face of their tragic migration history, seek refuge in the belief in voodoo. The feature film CRITICAL CONDITION tells the story of how similar the fates of the Ukrainian diaspora are in the past and present. OUR NAME IS FOREIGNER gives a voice to four siblings in Switzerland who feel alienated in their own country due to everyday racism.
