The devastating consequences of climate change are having an ever greater impact on our daily lives. The Greek farming family in ELYSIAN FIELDS knows this only too well. They have already lost one olive grove to the fierce forest fires, the others must be protected as best they can. In HEIRS, Obi and his mother flee from forest fires to an emergency shelter. There, the teenager sets his eyes on the headstrong Connor. Temperatures are also rising in the dystopian film LIGHT OF EMBERS: a group flees the scorching heat, but can they escape the blaze? Hope is offered by the breathtakingly beautiful animated WOODLAND, which takes us into a mystical forest where a melody is enough to revive nature.
