Newly designed, carefully curated rooms await you on the upper floor of the Kunsthalle's Art Nouveau building. Immerse yourself in the Kunsthalle's fascinating collection.
The collection presentation takes you through atmospheric landscape paintings from the early 19th to 20th century by masters such as Caspar David Friedrich and Carl Spitzweg. This is followed by works by important German Impressionists such as Max Liebermann and Lovis Corinth, complemented by expressive Informel paintings and sculptures as well as an impressive contemporary video work. The multi-channel video installation "Breker CCTV" by Itamar Gov is presented here for the first time as a new acquisition by the Förderkreis der Kunsthalle Mannheim e.V. as part of the museum's own collection.
