Förderpreisausstellung der Freunde der Kunstakademie Münster

For the 42nd time, the Friends of the Academy of Fine Arts Münster are holding an exhibition of 13 artistic positions: Anna Charlotte Frevel, Woorim Ha, Henrik Jansen, Yuna Jeong, Mari Kim, Julius Kotzke, Alex Liedtke, Jakob Mönch, Hannah Moraw, Anton Schmutzler, Nicole Widner, Jihyeok Yang, Frieda Zander.

The Förderpreis exhibition is a special exhibition format that does not follow any thematic guidelines. Rather, it can be seen as a platform that enables students of the Kunstakademie Münster to present their work to a wider public in the Kunsthalle Münster. The jury - consisting of Gerrit Frohne-Brinkmann (artist, Hamburg), Victoria Tarak (director, Kunstverein Bielefeld) and Eva Wilson (curator, Skulptur Projekte Münster) - will select a total of three prizewinners from the artistic positions. Corresponding to the 13 classes, the exhibition will feature different focal points and various media, such as paintings, sculptures, drawings, installations and videos.
