Even 33 years after a handful of hard-drinking philistines recorded their debut demo tape "Wir lachen nur wenn's richtig lustig ist" on cassette, the Frog Bog Dosenband is still a constant with its uninhibited nonsense.

After a break of several years, the group led by Dr. Dr. Dräse from Kloster Oesede in the district of Osnabrück sensationally reached number 23 in the Official German Album Charts with the album "Wir ham ne Fahne", 20 places behind ABBA and 16 places behind Helene Fischer.

Since then, the band has been the subject of enormous media hype. NDR, Hitradio Antenne and DPA have reported on the band, which has led to major reports in established media throughout Germany, from Süddeutsche Zeitung to Kreiszeitung, from Die Welt to Stadtblatt Osnabrück.

Since then, the band has exclusively played sold-out club concerts and other open airs in front of thousands of people. The festival calendar suddenly includes the biggest events such as Wacken Open Air, Summer Breeze and Reload Festival. Other well-known events follow.

The big "Dosenfest 2024" for the 33rd anniversary in Osnabrück's legendary Hyde Park was sold out in just a few days and now the funfair rock band is going on tour.
