Forgotten Stars - The bottomline

With their original genre mix of jazz, classical music and electronic trip-hop, Cologne-based band the bottomline, founded in 2016, promises a journey into intergalactic spheres in which space and time seem to dissolve. With their studio debut album "Forgotten Stars", released in 2022, Franzis Lating and Johannes Elia Nuß have proven that it is possible to combine musical traditions that are considered to be contradictory and to deal with the difficult issues of the present in a differentiated and serious musical way without losing their sense of humor. The Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger praised the bottomline as "a congenial, musically and technically highly talented duo".
