Jakob has an apartment, a secure income and nothing to complain about. And he has an account on "formidabl", the platform of endless possibilities. Here he is networked, quick-witted, charming and sought-after. And online every day.
Jakob's sister Nadine has her hands full with their father in need of care and needs Jakob more than ever. But "formidabl" offers distraction, escape and tempting euphoria. Until reality hits Jakob with such force that there is no escape. But will the realization come in time?

Fabian Egli's new solo musical vividly depicts our daily reality of unlimited communication and endless virtual possibilities, taking it to the extreme: what happens when we completely lose sight of the boundary between reality and virtuality?

The play is a plea for connection and interpersonal relationships. Entertaining, oppressive and human. Pop, soul and funk music from the 80s to the 2000s - from Neil Diamond to Hot Chocolate to Lorde - forms the framework for Jakob's rousing and contemporary story, which draws the audience into an online world where anything is possible: a duet with yourself or a date with the same woman twice. And at key points, the audience even has a say in how the story continues.
