FAQ

Which camera should I bring?

It is best to bring a camera on which you can make manual settings, e.g. a single-lens reflex camera (SLR). This will allow you to put what you have learned directly into practice and experiment and work with the camera's manual settings. Regardless of this, it is important to make sure that your camera is working properly so that you can get results in the end. Ideally, you should have already exposed a film with it and know that it is fully functional.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

What if I don't have a suitable camera?

The basic requirement for participation is to bring your own camera. If you don't have one but would still like to take part, please get in touch with us. We can provide cameras from our private stock for the workshop for a small number of participants.

How many participants can take part in the workshop?

A maximum of 10 participants will be admitted. The workshop will only take place if at least 4 participants register.

When will I receive the photos?

The photos will be delivered to the Optikoldschool laboratory in Düsseldorf on Saturday morning and will be developed and scanned by us. They will then be available digitally when we meet for the photo review and feedback session. It's best to bring your laptop with you on Saturday.
