Fotoausstellung: „Local Spirit“ von AGOSTINO PERRONE

From the beginning, Perrone's path to photography was closely linked to his career in gastronomy and mixology. Since taking over the management of the renowned Connaught Bar in London in 2008, his photography - much like his cocktails - has evolved into a blend of creativity, humanity and the art of capturing fleeting moments. The bars he worked in or visited became his studios. Through his lens, he delved deeper into the essence of these vibrant settings and the personalities that shape them. His photographs celebrate quiet emotions, capturing life as it unfolds - without waiting for the perfect moment.

The common thread in Perrone's work is its pace and spontaneity. His works combine movement and stillness, inviting viewers to look closely and discover the multi-layered stories in each image. He captures what he perceives in the lively atmosphere of the gastronomic world that he loves so much - what he experiences and what connects him to his emotions. This results in pictures that are characterized by immediacy and liveliness.
