"Provençal Light" is the name of Sophie Bonnet's latest case for her investigator Pierre Durand: Sainte-Valérie becomes the setting for the fashion show of designer Cyril
Fontanel. When Fontanel receives anonymous death threats, Pierre is alarmed: Who wants to harm the designer's career? A shadow falls over picturesque Espelette on the Way of St. James when a lone shepherd from the village is brutally killed. Luc Verlain, called in by the Basque police, finds the villagers strangely merciless, and soon Verlain comes across murder motives in Alexander Oetker's "Wolf Valley".
Cay Rademacher sets his crime thriller "Mysterious Saint-Rémy" near Saint-Rémy, one of the most beautiful places in the south of France. The ancient metropolis of Glanum, the "Pompeii of Provence", is located there. A young archaeologist works amidst the ruins until one night he is murdered in the shaft of a spring that was sacred to Celts, Greeks and Romans.
