The Bouvier-Sauvage family can look back with pride on a long aristocratic line of ancestors. When the only daughter announces that she wants to marry the son of a simple Peugeot dealer, they are less than delighted. When the future in-laws meet for the first time, both sides quickly realize that they are not only worlds apart in terms of wine and car preferences. To make matters worse, the future bride and groom have commissioned DNA tests that reveal more about the ancestry of those present. Oh la la, now the mood threatens to tip completely over the edge, as the test results could bring down many a family tree and ruin the wedding.

Following the success of "Monsieur Claude", comedy star Christian Clavier once again embarks on a delicious tour de force of cultural surprises and merciless sideswipes - and not just against the Grande Nation and its European neighbors.
