In the organizer's words:

Welcome to our women*'s festival! Tonight we celebrate not only the rights we have won through the tireless struggle of countless strong women and queer movements, but also the unstoppable force that unites us today. From the brave activists of the past to the courageous women and queer people of today - we have achieved a lot together, but the journey is not over yet.

For the twelfth year in a row, the "We Break the Silence" campaign is calling for a strong collective stand against gender-based violence to mark the International Day against Violence against Women on November 25.

Violence against women is not an individual fate, but a deeply rooted structural problem that affects us all. Violence is still an everyday occurrence; each and every one of us knows more than one woman who has been affected.

Today we want to enjoy peace, but also celebrate the strength we have as a community. This evening should encourage us and unite us so that we can support and strengthen each other. Together we will gather the energy we need to continue to fight for our rights and actively shape the future.
