Frauenzimmer – „Starke Frauen“

In the organizer's words:

Frauenzimmer. The name says it all. Great songs, strong voices and passionate musicians from various genres and decades are the focus of the evening.
Sora, a trained singer, and keyboard artist Lars Gehrmann (piano, accordion) have been performing as a duo since Documenta 15. What unites them is their shared passion for the music of "great women" - hence the name "Frauenzimmer".
Sora - vocal coach and music producer - is known for her national appearances on radio and television. Most recently she was a judge on a TV show and is currently working on new music projects.
Lars Gehrmann - music manager and pianist of the award-winning jazz band Level Eleven - also regularly curates concert series and cultural formats in Kassel.
In 2026, the two will once again bring pure energy to the stage: in addition to classics by Trude Herr, Adele, Whitney Houston and Nina Simone, this time the program also includes new, exciting songs - with even more energy, emotion and passion.
