In the organizer's words:
attention damsel*! on 07.05.2026 we want to hear your voice! if you have self-written texts, poems, monologues or similar that you would like to share with others, then register for "damsel* get loud"! As of this year, we can also accept mixed media contributions - so even if you have a short film or draw your own comics, you can register.
about the concept of "fräulein* werden laut":
as marginalized people, we demand to be heard. at "fräulein* werden laut" we want to create a safer and braver space where you can talk about your identity, self-empowerment, oppression or issues that are close to your heart! we are here to listen, support and show solidarity.
flinta*, BIPoC* and queers are oppressed by the same systems: capitalism, patriarchy, colonial systems, racism and other forms of discrimination. these systems ascribe roles and categories to us that we reject. we want to free ourselves from capitalist and oppressive patterns and fight for justice and equality!
in this struggle, even when we stand side by side, we often forget to take care of each other and take breaks to just breathe and be.
"fräulein* werden laut" is dedicated to this: taking a break to listen and be heard.
☆ participation requires no previous experience.
☆ please make sure that your contribution does not exceed 7 minutes.
☆ please: check your privileges and reflect on the position from which you are listening and speaking.
☆ by fräulein* we mean all flinta* (female, lesbian, intersexual, non-binary, trans, asexual,).
☆ we recognize that discrimination structures run through different levels and therefore we collectively regard fräulein* as an intersectional-feminist project and plan and carry out our events with this approach in mind.
