In the organizer's words:

Standing on a theater stage, slipping into different roles, developing exciting, funny, thought-provoking or even completely crazy scenes and creating an entire play with acting, dance and music?

This is exactly what the Junge Tanztheaterwerkstatt has been doing with children and young people over the past few months. The Freiräume project began with workshops during the Easter vacations and was diligently developed and rehearsed in regular meetings from September onwards. The play will now be performed at the Schauspielhaus in Dortmund in December.

Freedom is a multi-layered concept that is based on solidarity and affects us all. It not only means being free from oppression, but also living in a world full of opportunities - a world that you can actively shape and have a say in. Whether on a small or large scale: Freedom comes from collective engagement and building structures that matter to everyone.
