fresh fashion weeks: Mend in public

After a great start in 2024, the fresh fashion weeks are entering their second round this year: from April 25 to June 20, there will once again be many different fashion-related events!

Let's start with: Mend in public

The "Mend In Public Day" is an annual day of action as part of Fashion Revolution Week. The idea is simple: go out into your neighborhood and sew to protest against disposable fashion. In the midst of the busy Saturday hustle and bustle, we repair our broken bags and seams and spark conversations about how we can wear beloved clothes for longer.

By participating, we become part of a global, creative action that counters the cycle of abundance by repairing and reusing. Get your sewing projects (or other handicrafts!) out and come with us to Marienplatz. Meeting point is at 12 noon at the fountain in front of the town hall. If it rains, we will take refuge under the passageway at the Toy Museum.
