On Thursday, January 29, 2025, friederike. will bring her songs to the Kulturhaus Schwanen Waiblingen. As part of the attic concerts presented by Feierabendkollektiv Stuttgart, she will transform the foyer on the second floor into a place of quiet questions and big voices.
friederike. does not sing because she knows the answers, but because she is searching. Her songs carry the paths of her life within them - from Thuringia to Paris and Vienna, back to the countryside and out into the cities again. She interweaves jazzy, soulful colors with chanson and songwriting tradition. Her lyrics are poetic, sometimes humorous, sometimes desperate, often full of skepticism and yet open to glimmers of hope.
Since 2015, she has been touring small and large stages with her songs, winning SongSlams and sponsorship awards, releasing two albums and shaping the music scene in Thuringia with her own formats. Her voice remains unmistakable - close, idiosyncratic, honest. A concert with her is never smooth, but always personal, always intense.
