Levin Watermeyer's life is the DIY store. But suddenly his world starts to crack. The company is set to expand and an inscrutable colleague needs to be trained. The boss constantly increases the pressure - until environmentalists suspect a yellow-bellied toad biotope on the new site.

Denis Pfabe shows a commercialized microcosm of colleagues and customers - gripping, sometimes nasty, very entertaining. He "can create atmosphere. His language has power." (SWR2)

Denis Pfabe, born in 1986, is a trained businessman and studied journalism in Cologne. He has received several scholarships and the 2024 Deutschlandfunkpreis. Pfabe lives in Bonn and drives a forklift truck in a DIY store three days a week.
