So, how was work today? Good! Uh-huh...

We would like to know: What do people actually do at work? What exactly do they do day in, day out when they "go to work"? People from a wide variety of professions have their say: a porter, a company security officer, a crime scene cleaner and many others. Touching, revealing and even comical portraits have emerged from probing interviews and unsparing introspection.

How much "having to" is in work, how much "being"? And what happens when work stops?
