Join us on a journey through time to the beginnings of industrial brewing: find out more about Fritz Brinkhoff (1848-1927), the founding brewmaster of the Dortmund Union Brewery. Under his leadership, the new pale beer type "Export" was created in the 1880s - known far beyond the city limits as "Dortmunder Helles". The tour sheds light not only on Brinkhoff's life and work, but also on the profound changes in the brewing process during industrialization - and how he had a lasting impact on beer culture.
