News from the Hidden Rooms is the continuation of our popular guided tour - with a new story and a clear focus: Benrath Palace as a princely retreat where people deliberately went to have children and thus secure their dynastic future. Away from the city, the pleasure palace offered peace, discretion and "good air" - ideal conditions for what was not talked about openly, but which determined everything.

What role did Electress Elisabeth Augusta von Pfalz-Sulzbach play in this? Follow in her footsteps and explore the main building, including a rarely accessible dressing room. As a highlight, we follow a love story that secretly unfolds via a hidden connecting corridor between the two bedrooms.
