Just enjoy the silence - three characters want to defy the confusing world with this plan. But what does this world actually look like? Overpopulated and dirty, usually too loud and then too quiet when it comes to "addressing the big problem of the world here". The characters agree that things can't go on 'like this'. In the mode of self-expression, characters emerge who suffer from the world and themselves between condominiums, car ownership and nature poetry. What to do? Stick together or try to save your own ass in neoliberal fashion? And is that even possible or are the zombies already scratching at their front doors?
Young director Ella Haid-Schmallenberg brings the latest text by Leo Meier, actor and author of the multi-award-winning play "zwei herren von real madrid", to the Box stage. She asks who these people are and why they can't get away from each other in claustrophobic proximity. The enclosed space serves as protection for these figures, it is not a prison, not hell... or is it? Speaking of protection: from what and from which "stranger" do they actually have to protect themselves?
