The Future Media Talks are entering their third round. The aim of the event is to connect the next generation of young media professionals with alumni and media partners who have studied, taught, researched or worked at Mainz University of Applied Sciences. This creates a bridge between studies and career - for valuable insights, orientation and support on the path to professional life.

16:00 - Keynote

Title (AT): Cinema, TV & streaming in transition: New players, new content, new ways to reach the audience
The media landscape is undergoing profound change. Traditional broadcasters are evolving into streaming platforms, new providers are entering the market, and changing viewing habits are influencing financing, revenue models and the routes to the audience. Festivals and film awards - such as the SI STAR - are gaining in importance. The content itself is also changing: more flexible, more diverse and more target group-oriented.
