Fuzz Me Tender presents 250CC, Garlands, Pretty Average

Come to the Vorwerkstift on 25.10. and join three fantastic bands from Berlin and Hamburg on a dream journey from 70s nouvelle fuzz to psychedelic noise, dreampop, shoegaze and post-punk.

250CC is an Italian-French Berlin based duo. Taking their inspiration from the 60's and 70's most interesting bands, 250CC create their own cinematic universe of nouvelle fuzz. Guido and Alice love to play with a variety of references, change of dynamics, and dreamy harmonies. In 2024 they released their second album "We can't sleep at night". The duo is an essential part of Berlin's underground scene. They perform memorable live shows in which rawness, combined with an original songwriting become the signature of the band.

A bridge between Hamburg and Berlin is needed for the shoegaze dreampop duo GARLANDS to exist. An unbroken lifeline, characterized by unique sounds of layered guitars, synths, and dual vocals by Catharina (vocals, guitar, synthesizer / Berlin) and Sui (vocals, bass, flute / Hamburg). The two women reference the noise of My Bloody Valentine and Sonic Youth, as well as echoes of Krautrock and psychedelic rock. GARLANDS stands for the deconstruction of restrictive concepts in pop culture. They don't want to be limited by outdated narratives of rockism and ageism. At their live shows, they form a wall of sound with Homero (guitar) and Adrian (drums). Following their release "Turn the Sky" in 2024, they are currently working on their new album.

PRETTY AVERAGE also bring a fresh attitude to the shoegaze /post-punk scene in Berlin. Front woman Candy plays and sings her songs in her powerful gender-indistinct manner. This is combined with Sergi's distorted wall of effects and repetitive guitar sounds. Last year they relased their debut "All I wanted". They published two editions of vinyl run, the first edition being sold out. In the upcoming months they will release their new single and they go on tour with their live band around Europe. In addition to Paris and Prague, they also visit Hamburg.
