FZW Poetry Slam

In the organizer's words:

Whether poetry, comedy, cabaret, Dada or storytelling, whether short story or poem, read out or performed from memory, shouted or whispered - anything that comes from your own pen and fits into a narrow time slot of six minutes may be performed.

However, disguises, instruments and other props are taboo. Slam poets from all over Germany come to the FZW and compete for the audience's favor using only their words, voice and body.

The prize is the "Golden Pot", designed by artist Anna-Lisa Konrad. The winner of the evening's trophy is decided solely by the loudest applause in the hall. The eloquent, varied and interactive live literature show will be hosted by Sandra Da Vina and Jan Schmidt. Changing DJs will be on the turntables and Patrick Praschma alias "Videominister" will be responsible for the screen. The event takes place in cooperation with WoW Poetry Slam.

Sandra Da Vina & Jan Schmidt will host the event. DJ Kleinradhuelse will be spinning on the turntables.
