Christian Schreckenberger's performance "Luna & Shadow" deals with nothing less than fairy tales, enumerations, melancholy, shopping tips, plush horses and artificial intelligence all at once.

The artist from Essen reinterprets the two parking garage entrance pavilions on the square and uses them as equestrian monument pedestals.

In earlier performances, Christian Schreckenberger subjected the rooms of the Duisburg Kunstverein, for example, to a ritual cleansing by caressing the floors with sparkling wine and champagne.

In his performance "Mantra" on Worringer Platz in Düsseldorf, surrounded by circulating traffic and kebab stores, he spent whole nights mumbling and calmly reading from menus, playlists, tide tables and streetcar departure times, interrupted by tours during which he set kebab skewer objects spinning like a prayer wheel.
