There are many artist talks - but this gallery talk takes a different approach.
The focus is not on the artist's intention, but on the questions that modern art poses to us all.

How can art make us listen and see - truly, openly and attentively?
Should it challenge our usual ways of seeing?
And can art make social problems visible?

The starting point for the discussion will be film excerpts from the works of Silke Schönfeld, whose works reflect the relationship between the individual and society. She documents personal life stories - and reveals structures that shape our coexistence.
