In the collected works, the artist examines landscape as a designed and imagined space in which architectural structures and vegetative processes overlap and intertwine. Grids, visual axes and boundaries lead to atmospheric openness. In the Bella Martha Kunsthaus, this creates a dialogue between the pictures and the place itself: between built space and the surrounding landscape, between architecture and nature.

The adjoining bella martha café serves homemade cakes and tarts made by Paris-trained pastry chef Christina Bongartz.
